Most elderly feel shunned and disconnected in this fast-paced environment and modern lifestyle where no one has the time for them.
Compounded by the Covid-19 situation, people in this age group have been cut off from social activities.
The predicament can lead to physiological and psychological ailments like high blood pressure, heart disease, anxiety, depression, Alzheimer’s, and even death.
